When you study in Hair and Beauty at the TEC the learning and doing takes place in the purpose designed Hair and Beauty training studio, in modern classrooms with interactive technology, on community projects and on work experience with an employer.
Hair and Beauty Studio
The specialist Hair and Beauty training studio is located just outside the main TEC building set in the grounds of Chisholm TAFE. The studio is fully equipped for learning about a range of hair, nail and other beauty treatments. It's got the look, feel and technology of a real commercial studio so it's ideal for hands-on training.
VCAL COURSES
VCAL Hair and Beauty
Gain introductory skills to enter the Hair and Beauty industry with this pre-apprenticeship course combined with VCAL.
Successful completion credits students with a full pre-apprenticeship in Hairdressing and also gives some credits towards obtaining a Certificate III in Beauty

VCAL Fast Track (Senior)
This course provides the opportunity for students who have completed Year 11 to fast track Year 12 VCAL over one semester (six months).
Students can then move directly to their preferred course option.
Students will be required to have study credits from Year 11 that contribute to the Year 12 course to allow the fast track to occur. Vocational studies from a previous school are the most common credits that contribute to year 12 studies.
